New Year's Eve in Big Bear

We find ourselves at Big Bear Lake, CA at the Accetta's cabin. The Accettas and Gobles are here as well. All told, there are six adults and 9 kids here. We are looking forward to a great evening. There is some snow on the ground and the kids had a great time playing in the snow this morning.

We arrived last night after Heidi and I sang at Elizabeth Ewing's wedding at the church. We made it up the mountain a little after 7 pm and enjoyed tacos that Stacey had made. After a while we watched The Bourne Supremacy. Most everyone fell asleep. I remember the beginning and the end. I guess I fell asleep in the middle.

This morning Kurt, smelled gas near the front door. We called the Gas Co. and they turned the gas off until an underground pipe gets fixed. That means no heat, no hot water for baths, and no stove or oven. It probably will not get fixed until later this week and then it has to pass a Gas Co. inspection.

We will head home tomorrow night since I am working for Trace on the morning of the second.

Happy New Year,

Billy

A Day with Friends

We had an interesting day today. I practiced some music for a wedding with Heidi and Don this morning and then ran home. Laurel and I left in time to meet up with Curtis, Kristi, Kurt and Heidi for lunch and a movie.

We had a great time. The kids had the honor of babysitting themselves. After the movie we came home for about 45 minutes and then went over to the Accetta's for pizza and a movie. The Goble's and Templeton's were there as well.

Good night now.

The Press Box

These are our kids. They range in age from 13 to 3. We took this picture in between our Christmas Eve services at church.
